The ultrasound investigation is an integral part of diseases of the liver and the digestive organs. The abdominal cavity and the internal organs (including the gall bladder, pancreas and liver) can be examined without radiation and entirely without pain.
Many diseases can be detected, and their course evaluated, only by performing an ultrasound investigation of the abdomen.
